Kiekvieną dieną mes dejuojame kaip mums sunku, kokie mes nesuprasti, vos susižeidę darome iš to didžiulę tragediją. Bet ar kada pagalvojot, kad kitoje valstybėje, žmonės neturėdami valgyt, būdami ligoti, sužeisit, sugeba džiaugtis gyvenimu, ir visada randa sprendimus šioms bėdoms, ar bent jau jų ieško...? Mano požiūris į gyvenimą pasikeitė, kai perskaičiau vieną knygą. Kokia ji?

Waris Dirie su Cathleen Miller „Dykumų gėlė“


Waris Dirie – mergina, papasakojusi sukrečiančia savo gyvenimo istoriją  visam pasauliui. Vos dvylikos ji pabėgo iš savo gimtųjų namų Somalyje. Ji buvo viena iš tų merginų, kurioms gyvenimas suteikė šansą siekti aukštumų, tad vos nuvažiavusi į Londoną tapo pasaulinio garso manekene. Kai vieną dieną, per vieną interviu, garsus modelis prabilo apie mergaičių lytinių organų žalojimą, vykstanti daugelyje Afrikos genčių. Ji pati patyrė šį žiaurų ritualą vos penkerių...

Apie šią knygą galvoju jau savaitę. Žinojau, kad ją turiu būtinai aprašyti ir jau buvau suplanavusi kaip aprašysiu, bet ne viskas vyksta kaip yra suplanuota. Štai dabar, sėdžiu pasidėjusi knygą prieš nosį, ir nežinau ką rašyti... Nors prieš tai turėjau tvirtą nuomonę tam.

Knyga mane sužavėjo, bet kartu ir kėlė pasišlykštėjimą. Galbūt ne pati knyga, o tam tikros vietos. Ypač, kai pasakojo apie lytinių organų žalojimą. Baisiausia buvo tai skaityti. Kai šią „operaciją“ atlikdavo su paprastu peiliuku... Kaip dauguma merginų to neištverdavo ir mirdavo, bet vis tiek tai buvo privaloma, nes kitaip kaip sakoma knygoje, tu būsi „Nešvari“. Ir joks vyras tavęs neims į žmonas. Dar vienas sukrečiantis dalykas buvo tai, kad net ir tau miegant, tave gali kažkas išprievartauti (taip buvo knygos herojės seseriai). Žiauru. Niekada negalvojau, kad tokie dalykai dar kažkur vyksta, nors per televizija galima prisižiūrėti visko... Ir tai turbūt jau niekieno nebestebina...

Atsimenat senus laikus, kai vyrai buvo viskas (bent jie taip galvodavo) - jie laikė save Dievais, šeimos galvomis, didžiausiais ponais. Prisiminiau kai mama pasakojo, jog seniau, kai vyrai grįždavo iš medžioklės  parsinešdavę grobį namo, pirma jį sudorodavo jie, o likučius atiduodavo vaikams ir moterims... Ar tai Jums nekelia neigiamų jausmų? Panašūs dalykai dėjosi ir knygos viduje. Įsivaizduokit jeigu 12-metę dukterį, tėvai ištekindavo už žilstelėjusio pono (duodu suprasti, kad jam apie 50-60 metų..). Ir tai ne viskas, iš tikrųjų jos net neištekindavo, o parduodavo kaip gyvulį! Už jauną, nekaltą merginą, tėvas galėdavo gauti 5 ir net daugiau kupranugarių, o kiek žinau, tai yra labai daug...


Bet žinot, ši knyga pasakojo ir kitą istorijos dalį. Varis ryžtą, norą kovoti, šeimos meilę, atkaklumą, tradicijų puoselėjimą, kai kurių žmonių supratingumą ir daugeli kitų dalykų... Perskaičius šią knygą, pasikeis ne tik požiūris į gyvenimą, bet atsiras ir tokių, kurioms ši knyga atvers akis, privers į pasaulį pasižiūrėti Varis akimis. Mergaitės, kuri iškentėjo viską, kol pasiekė tikslą. Ir jei galvojat, kad ši knyga yra pramanas, žiauriai klystat. Ši knyga buvo parašyta, remdamasi tikrais faktais. Tad tai dar vienas postūmis perskaityti šią knygą. 

Ir jeigu kažką sudomino ši knyga, siūlau pažiūrėti filmą. Pati jo dar nemačiau, bet žadu pažiūrėti. 

 
 Ir nežinau ar kažką sudomino ši knyga, ar ne. Bet jei vis dėl to patiko, kitą kartą galiu daugiau parašyti apie šią moterį. Kadangi ką čia paminėjau, tai tėra smulkmenos... 
Na ir paskutiniai klausimai: ar skaitėte šią knygą? Kokią nuomonę susidarėt?

    Knyga mane sukretė. Ją esu skaičius jau du kartus, bet tai kaip "Mažasis princas", kiekvieną kartą atrandi kažką naujo ir kažką, kas priverčia suvokti Pasaulio tiesą... Labai patiko ir straipsnis :)

    Žinai...tą knygą vis varsčiau akimis bibliotekoj,bet jau buvau prisirunkus daug knygų,tad nepaėmiau. Dabar gailiuosi. Kai tik išgysiu eisiu pasiimti. Straipsnis man labai patiko,buvo įdomus.

    Daugelį kartų norėjau ją nusipirkti, tačiau vis pamatydavau ką nors geresnio. Esu skaičiusi ne vieną tokio tipo knygą, tad suprantu ką pagrindiniams herojams tenka išgyventi. Deja, nei viena iš jų mano požiūrio nepakeitė. Visko pasaulyje buvo ir bus, tad nesu linkusi gilintis į liūdnas istorijas.

    Skaičiusi esu daug knygų ir tik kelioms pavyko mane sukrėsti. Ši deja nesukrėtė. Domiuosi pasauliu ir tie lytinių organų žalojimai man ne naujiena. Girdėta buvo viskas kas yra knygoje. Tiesą sakant man buvo nuobodu.
